Freyr Technology AI Book a consult

Who we build for

Vancouver already does this work.

A growing AI company base, one of the larger visual effects, animation and games clusters in North America, and a regulated sector that cannot send its data across the border. Most of that work has run outside the province because there was nowhere local to put it.

AI training
and inference
A small AI team working through a model architecture together in an open-plan office

AI startups and scale-ups

Teams training and serving their own models who want frontier hardware without a hyperscaler in the middle. The hard part is usually getting enough contiguous GPU time to finish a run, on terms a Series A board will sign.

Data that stays
in the country
The Vancouver skyline with Harbour Centre and the snow-covered North Shore mountains behind it

Regulated and public sector

Banks, hospitals, universities and government, plus the software companies trying to sell into them. For those vendors, being able to name the exact facility is often what gets the account approved.

Render
and simulation
Colourists and editors at work in a darkened post-production grading suite

Film, VFX, animation and games

Studios with render, simulation and generative pipelines that would rather keep the work, and the footage, in the same city. Game production sits in the same building as often as not, and asset generation now runs continuously rather than at milestones. Unreleased material usually comes with contract terms about where it can be stored.

Inference
by the token
The Infer Street wordmark

Infer Street, for partners who resell

Our inference layer, sold by the token rather than the node. Telecoms and platforms that want to put AI in front of their own customers point their existing API gateway at ours, keep their brand on the front, and price it themselves. The capacity, and the service level that comes with it, passes straight through from Vancouver.

Ecosystem

We are also working with incubators and accelerators.

We want teams on frontier hardware early, before the architecture is built around whatever was cheapest at the time. If you run a programme anywhere in North America and your companies are compute-bound, we should talk.

Tell us the workload, the scale and the timeline.

We will come back with a node count or a token price, and tell you if we are not the right fit.
